How to vote for District Delegates to the National Convention:
Each Congressional District will be represented by different numbers of Delegates depending on primary turnout.
CD1 gets 4 Delegates, 2 self identif1ied females and two other-than-self-Identified females (two women and two men).
The delegate candidate list in the form of a ballot, will be sent out electronically on April 19th to all those Democrats who have applied to receive a ballot. These need to be voted and returned electronically by April 21st.
Vote for up to 2 men and two women from the list of Congressional District 1 Delegate Candidates:

What a great Primary election...now for November!
The 2024 Blue wave is coming, meanwhile, we have a lot of work to do registering voters and doing Democratic outreach prior to the next election. Canvassing is in progress!

A major contest coming up is for City Councils and School Boards
In Chico, thus far, Monica McDaniel is running in Chico Council District 3, and Bryce Goldstein is planning a run in District 7 and there are interested, well qualified folks for City Council District 5. District 1 needs a candidate, but there is plenty of time for someone to jump in. Please contact David Welch if you are interested.

In the March 5th Primary...
Joanna Warrens lost to Tod Kimmelshue but is still involved in our community, seeking a County Board position and running to be a National Democratic Party Delegate to the Chicago convention.
Aaron Draper, won a spot in AD3 and needs our support in his run against Gallagher in Assembly District 3.

Rose Yee, Won to run against LaMalfa. She is a small business owner and progressive from Redding, running in CD1.
